1986 Cannondale SM600

The SM600 was the first Cannondale to use dual 26" wheels.  Components consist of the dirt-specific Suntour XC parts and includes the XC post, pedals and stem in addition to the drivetrain.  Chain stays are crimped for crank clearance which often led to customers coming back to the shop wanting to know why their new bike was dented already!  The brake cable guides are plastic while the derailleur guides are riveted on.
