1987 Otis Guy

Beautifully filleted frame and fork.  Appears to be the 81st Otis Guy built bike (serial number is 081 (serial) B (ballooner)  OG (Otis Guy).  Nice mix of Phil hubs and bottom bracket, American Classic skewers, SE front brake and road rear derailleur.  We decided that the bike looks like a watermelon with the green/melon fade with the white "rind" in between.  So far we have resisted the urge to paint seed on it.  This bike was originally sold to Sunshine Bikes in Fairfax, CA on 2/19/1988 and it sold for $645 (frame only). The original stem was 14cm long with a 30 degree rise so it was changed somewhere along the line..
