1991 Grove X frame

Back Home Up

One of the more interesting frame designs from Bill Grove out of Pennsylvania.  The frame design is somewhat similar to the Trimble Inverse 4 frame except in cro-moly steel instead of carbon fiber.  This particular frame was made for the Salomon Corporation and appeared in their catalog.  The blue and yellow paint scheme matched to the corporate colors.  The Hothead one-piece bar and stem was heat treated and featured an ergonomic bend in the grip area to reorient the wrists in a more natural direction.
