1995 Mountain Goat Route 66

Back Home Up Next

The Route 66 was one of the "super hybrids" from the mid-1990s.  They were marketed as an upper-end fitness bike and they were often outfitted with top end components.  We got this one as a frame and built it up with mostly Deore XT drivetrain along with some Ritchey components.  The Specialized/DuPont tri spoke wheels were some that were around the shop that we didn't want to sell, so they found a home on the Mountain Goat.
