1995 Fat Chance Yo Eddy Team

By 1994, Fat Chance needed a partner to help keep them afloat and found Serotta in Saratoga New York.   The thought was to combine some of the overhead functions while keeping the brands separate.  This required a move away from their Somerville home which meant a move for the employees.  Many of them decided to stay put which led to the formation of several other brands in the Boston area.  The Yo was the "team" edition bike and held the top rung of the Fat Chance ladder.  Many of the earlier bikes were produced with the Fat Chance segmented rigid forks but by 1995, suspension was taking over the market.  This bike has a very typcial mid 1990's build with Titec, Syncros, Grip Shift, Selle Italia and Rock Shox.  Combined with a Shimano Deore XT drivetrain, this would have been a very reliable bike (no Judy cartridges to blow!)  Size is a Fat Chance medium which is roughly 17" c-c or 18.5" c-way top with a 22.5" c-c top tube.
