Hubs: 500 RD: road hubs, cast "Mavic" logo in the hub body, 126mm rear with 24-28-32-36-40 holes at 260 g with the front hub at 215 g with 24-28-32-36 holes, the rear hub uses the drive side bearing cover with a series of holes 550 RD: same as 500 RD except the drive side bearing cover is omitted to bring the bearing further outboard and the hub bodies are anodized 530: mountain bike hubs derived from the 550 RD hub, gray anodized bodies, 130mm rear spacing with 28-32-36 holes and 28-32-36 front, 505 g for the pair, multi-color Mavic decals wrapped around the hub shells

Headset: 305: road headset with a 2.5mm fixing bolt to keep the head set from loosening 315: similar to the 305 except with a taller upper race to prevent loosening. Has a large multi-color Mavic decal wrapped around the upper race.

Cranks and Bottom Brackets: 637 crank: forged arms, anodized grey bronze rings, 170, 175 or 180 mm arms, 46/48 outer, 36/38 middle and 24/26/28 round or 26/28 oval rings. The inner oval ring has 5 possible mounting positions to align the oval with the crank arm 616 RD bottom bracket: 124 or 134 mm spindles, requires the bottom bracket shell to be chamfered at a 45 degree angle, the cups don't actually thread into the frame so they were often used for unthreaded or damaged bottom bracket shells.

Shift Components: 845 rear derailleur: needle bearing jockey pulleys, 6 or 7 speed index compatible, black upper knuckle and cage. large multi color Mavic decal on the derailleur body, long curved cage, 250g 875 front derailleur: large dropped inner cage, 28mm size only, 110g, yellow Mavic decal on band 825 shifters: under bar wishbone shaped shifters, index 6 or 7 speed, 160 g per pair
